XiXgon International!! One of the toughest, most versatile, juggling and clashing sound systems to come out of the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago.
The original five members of XiXgon are Yves (Chinee), Ben, David, Clarke & Keegan.
All the members of XiXgon are originally from Trinidad and started DJing at house parties and school events around 1999. Since then, the sound has grown with the introduction of Thomas and DJ Karey to the local arm. In 2004 Keegan migrated to the US and introduced the sound to the international market. He has since teamed up with selector Jason to form the Tampa branch of the sound. In pursuit of academics, Clarke and Yves relocated to Toronto, Canada, where the sound also established itself, and teamed up with DJ Shai and King Ida Supreme where they promote the popular IRE.MEMBER Reggae Party series.
In 2012 the Sound joined the line up on Slam 100.5fm (Trinidad) and can be heard every Friday between 6-9pm.
Both at home and abroad the sound has played alongside some of the industry’s leading sound systems including David Rodigan, King Addies, Black Kat, Mighty Crown, Poison Dart (FL), Tek 9, Tony Matterhorn and Bass Oddessy (R.I.P Squingy).
The Sound would like to extend thanks to all who have supported over the years and to continue to follow their growth and progress.
