As a Buzz Accounts Executive, you will work proactively to engage businesses and other organizations to advertise with or embark in sponsorship agreements with Buzz. You will actively manage current accounts to maximize renewal rates. This includes creating and executing marketing and sales plans, as well as creating sponsorship proposals for prospective partnerships. You will ensure high-quality and flawless client interactions and detailed sales presentations that drive results for clients and revenue for Buzz. You are a people person and know that to be successful in this job you will spend the maximum amount of time interacting with clients, building relationships, growing existing accounts and making presentations to new prospects.

The best-suited candidate would thrive at creating strong and positive working relationships with companies and sponsors. They would relish the challenge of making a sale and understand that success in advertising sales is about constant account development and that prospecting and calling on new clients is a daily task. Additionally, they would possess communication and presentation skills and understand the structure of the sales process, from qualifying prospects, to presenting opportunities and closing the sale.


  • Minimum of 2 year prior sales experience, preferably in a service/solution, online advertising or media environment
  • Charisma! A natural ability to sell and build relationships
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to innovate, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with sales presentations with small and medium sized businesses
  • Proficient in the use of Office, Outlook, and Business Contact Manager for Outlook

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identify new business, manage leads and close deals
  • Work with agencies on current campaigns and prospective campaigns
  • Make outbound sales enquiries both over the telephone and face to face
  • Drop knowledge on your clients about the power of our online advertising
  • Talk to a wide variety of local business owners daily
  • Build lasting, mutually benefiting relationships with clients
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients

Buzz’s parent company, Webgold Designs is currently seeking a Junior Web Developer with at least 1 year of experience, a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities, a willing teamwork mentality, and a robust skill set of front end development skills. Your creativity and talent will be applied to websites, social contests, Facebook apps, landing pages, mobile applications and more.

The Junior Web Developer will support our Senior Web Developer and Designer and be responsible for the content management and maintenance of client websites and web applications. They should be very familiar with CSS, JavaScript and HTML, have basic design sense, be attentive to details and be extremely willing to learn and grow their current skills.


  • At least 1 year experience hand-coding XHTML, CSS and javascript/jquery
  • At least 1 year experience with PHP/MySQL/AJAX/Object Orientated Programming
  • Must have experience working with content management and e-commerce systems
  • Knowledge of cross-browser accessibility is a must
  • Understanding of back end development and integration with front end design
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) concepts
  • Basic knowledge of Design applications (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks etc)
  • Basic knowledge of Web server applications
  • Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 is a plus
  • Proactive attitude, highly organized, and able to function in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Solid communication skills
  • Self-motivated to explore new technologies and programs
  • Interest in social and mobile application technologies
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently on projects

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Add and maintain content for clients’ websites
  • Support the developing, implementing, and maintaining of internal and external websites and/or web based applications
  • Develop and maintain content pages and templates for multiple client sites
  • Assist in projects from idea to mock-up to launch, including designing prototypes & wireframes, conducting usability testing, and moving the final product into production
  • Create, style and place image and graphical assets
  • Apply knowledge of industry trends in web design to improve service to our clients
  • Provide ever-changing value to the team by problem-solving, innovating, learning and growing
  • Be capable of handling multiple demands and completing priorities simultaneously
