Aaron Marquez

Aaron is part Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese and 'French Creole' (red negro, white and black mixed for whoever is still stumped) all mixed up together (a real callaloo), with the greater portion descending in order.

Aaron Marquez is essentially a lover of all music, real music.
Some of his earliest memories are those of his father playing music at home. It runs in the family you see, his father was the lead singer and drummer for the Trinidadian group Dennis de Souza and the Group Moods. This was his earliest inspiration which in turn inspired him to take part in school choir, which further developed his love for singing. He then played around with writing poetry and this developed his love for writing/composing. Some of the lyrics to his songs today are from his first poems.

Aaron often speaks of hearing instruments and melodies playing in his head from since he was a teenager and it was then he experimented with arranging music. Life as it does, took it's twists and turns for Aaron and ups and downs of circumstance slowed things down, but he always knew he wanted to to write and create music, real music, and share it with everyone.
The birth of his son, and then twin daughters had truly inspired the now turned artiste to pursue his true passion in life. Fusing, creating and sharing music that promotes peace love and positivity. Aaron has since been recording his songs and has performed in most of the popular spots in Trinidad such as Woodford Cafe, Movietowne Fiesta Plaza , 51 Degrees Lounge, Fuzion Lounge, La Casa de Ibiza, Crews Inn, Anchorage, Queens Park Oval and Sabor Latino to name a few as well as many popular annual parties and events. He has performed alongside quite a few of the well known local rock and reggae bands like Orange Sky and Kin Sibling Rivalry and also had his own band 3rd Chronicle for a while and intends to rekindle that flame.
