Williamsville Secondary School is a medium sized school with a student population of 303 and a teaching staff of 54. Surrounded by gently undulating landscape, the school sits perched atop a hill in the rural area of Kumar Village, Williamsville. Students come from the outlying villages of Hardbargain, Poonah, Whiteland, Reform as well as Gasparillo, Princes Town, Marabella and Tabaquite.
Williamsville Secondary School began its operations in September 1976, under the name of Williamsville Junior Secondary School. It was the only secondary school in the area of Willliamsville, providing for a period of thirty years a junior secondary education. In 2006 it became a deshifted and converted full-day secondary school offering a five year programme of studies.
