Our vision is to consistently challenge, nurture, inspire and support each child's individual growth and development within an effective, self enriched, beautiful and welcoming learning community that emulates the Montessori philosophy of respect for self, respect for others and respect of the environment.

We offer day care for babies up to 2 and then pre-elementary education to kids from 2 1/2 to 6years old at Casa dei Bambini (meaning Children's House). Our kids then move onto our MATT Elementary (primary) programme catering to kids from 6 - 12 years old.

Montessori is a philosophy of education that follows a specific method. Memorization. Repetition. Standardized tests. The Montessori education journey all began with Dr. Maria Montessori. Through scientific observations, she determined that children learn best when learning at their own pace and given the choice of his or her own activities. This breakthrough sparked a revolution that led to the Montessori Method being taught all over the world. And for the first time, we are introducing this method to Trinidad and Tobago!

The Montessori Academy plays a much different — and more vital — role than in a typical classroom. We believe children have a natural desire to learn, and will act joyfully if given the opportunity. Your Montessori Academy teacher will work with your child to individually encourage him or her to explore the areas that excite and engage him or her. As children master an exercise, we guide them to the next appropriate challenge.

Each Montessori classroom is a community, with respect for others at the core. And the community formed in our programs goes beyond the classrooms to encompass the entire school. It creates lifelong learners and good citizens.
