About The Little Carib Theatre

The Little Carib Theatre was established in 1948 by the late dance legend, Beryl "La Belle Rosette" McBurnie as a folk dance theatre to showcase the vibrant and rich culture of the Trinbagonian people.

Established in 1948 by the late dance legend, Beryl "La Belle Rosette" McBurnie as a folk dance theatre to showcase the vibrant and rich culture of the Trinbagonian people. She opened the doors to the theatre with her first show, Bele and from then to now, many productions have been staged and taken residency at the Little Carib Theatre.


The theatre has since been renovated with works still to b
e completed. Yet many can say that this structure is one filled with history and unforgettable memories.
