This is the home of the Police Training College of the T&T Police Service since 1890. Completed on June 11th 1827, the building on the expansive grounds was constructed using stone from the Champs Elyses Estate in Maraval and is a neoclassical British Colonial style. The foundation stone for the barracks, which can still be seen on the north-eastern corner of the south block, was laid on May 13, 1824.
Horses are kept at this location and servicemen can be seen training on horseback from time to time. The expansive grounds can be rented for sports days, family days and other outdoor events.
