St. Dominic's Pastoral Centre

The St. Dominic's Pastoral Centre was built under the auspices of the Dominican Friers of Trinidad and Tobago. This state of the art centre is situated on Morne Coco Road, Diego Martin, on the grounds of the St. Finbar's Roman Catholic Church. Surrounded by the beauty of Trinidad and Tobago's lush rain forest, St. Dominic's Pastoral Centre offers ultra-modern facilities catering for both large gatherings as well as small meetings and functions. The Centre provides a home for the parish office and the Dominican Centre of Learning which caters for the catechetical needs of Catholics in Trinidad and Tobago and beyond. To assist in the intellectual formation provided by the Dominican Centre of Learning, there is the Dominican Book Centre with a wide variety of Catholic educational material, holy reminders and gifts.

Never forgetting our Christian responsibility to provide for the needs of those less fortunate, the Centre also houses the St. Martin de Porres Outreach section which offers free medical, legal and charitable assistance to those in need. In all, the St. Dominic's Pastoral Centre provides a major contribution of the Dominican Order to the uplifting of the Catholic Church in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean, intellectually, culturally and socially. It provides an exciting arena where Catholics and members of the society at large can contribute to the betterment of our region, and by extension, the wider world.
