The Sforzata Steel Orchestra was created on 29 July 1975 by arranger Merlin "Mutt" Gill, who had left the nearby Scherzando Steel Orchestra. Competing in the Medium Steelband Category, they have earned numerous top 3 placings in Panorama, including 1st place over 3 times.
