Salsa Kitchen Tapas Restaurant was born on June 21st 2001. Once, while perusing a book about food, a famous gastronome, Brillat-Savarin said, "The discovery of a new dish confers more happiness on humanity than the discovery of a new star." This is exactly how we feel about our menu. The dining terrace is located at the front of our house, surrounded by lush foliage and flowers, all planted as "baby" trees by us; our love for fresh, tasty comforting food brought about the idea of Tapas, our small plates, which fit in well with our little domestic kitchen, where there was a lack of powerful stainless steel stoves or vast freezers and the absence of a sous chef! Small and quick to prepare dishes seemed like a great idea.
Come and try our garlic bread with our variety of Tapas like Sizzling Pork in a sweet and spicy "secret" mint sauce or Dos Quesos made up of local feta and mozzarella topped with an onion, caper and olive confit or a variety of salads like Caprese with fresh tomatoes and basil with authentic buffalo mozzarella and Iain's Rum Punch.
