The Petrotrin Fyzabad Sporting Club can be rented for functions and events including concerts and family days. Sporting events that can be held here include:

With a goal to secure the continued positive development of Trinidad and Tobago’s society, we have taken a multi-pronged approach to the programmes we support in our bid to ensure the holistic development of the communities we reach. Our involvement in programmes targeting cultural development is therefore only matched by our support for sporting activities and their contribution to overall community enhancement. It is our belief that sports provide opportunities for physical development, contribute to healthier lifestyles and can also have a positive impact upon one’s self esteem and sense of discipline. At PETROTRIN therefore, support for sports is supporting stronger communities.

Our support for sporting programmes is another feature of our Corporate Social Responsibility that is inherited and which pre-dates the incorporation of PETROTRIN in 1993. Chief among these traditional programmes are the Southern Games and Palo Seco Games focused on track and field and cycling events targeting local athletes and cyclists as well as participants from across the region and internationally. In addition to maintaining sporting clubs and facilities throughout our areas of operation for the benefit of our employees and the wider community, we also have a history of supporting sporting groups throughout Trinidad and Tobago. Among the groups supported today are the Petrojazz Basketball Team, the Marabella Football League, the Southern Football Association, the Special Olympics Team, as well as other football and cricket teams and sporting bodies.
