About Centre of Excellence

The Dr. João Havelange Centre of Excellence is dedicated to just that, excellence not solely in sport, but in life. The complex was a vision of Austin Jack Warner, President of CONCACAF and was named in honour of Dr. João Havelange, the Brazilian-born former President of the FIFA (1974-1998).
The Centre is a flexible, multi-purpose facility capable of hosting a range of functions and events. In fact, the complex has staged everything from live television broadcasts of international football matches to weddings and birthday parties.
At its core, the Centre is a hub of football education, expertise and skills training, catering to the needs of players, both club and national teams, sports officials, referees and other stakeholders, with a mission to achieve a sustained level of excellence in every aspect of the game.
The Centre of Excellence offers the best of both worlds - cool, comfortable indoor facilities and breezy, tropical outdoor facilities - so no matter what atmosphere your event calls for; we've got the ideal space!
