The playwright uses the essence of the traditional enactments; traditional mas; folklore; cultural diversity of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to deconstruct the traditional social conditioning of gender roles, politics, race and religious prejudices. Additionally, the essence of the Jab Jab, the Blue Devil, the Jab Mollasie, and Ballroom dances together with elements of Kalinda/stickfighting form are utilized. Furthermore, Reggae, Soca and Hindi songs are used to drive and carry the action of the play. #FAQ: What's the difference between the $120, $100 and $75 pricing? Answer: The cost of $120 applies ONLY on the Premiere Night (14th Nov). Every other night (15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd) the General cost of $100 applies, as does the Student cost of $75.
