Queen's Royal College Old Boys' Association presents Chefs Royal 2014 The Queen’s Royal College (QRC) Old Boys’ Association (OBA) will host the 16th edition of Chefs Royal, on Saturday July 26th, 2014, at the College grounds, St. Clair. from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. Chefs Royal is one of the QRC OBA's fundraising initiatives, which allows the wider QRC community, including current students, alumni and all dedicated to the development of the college, to show off their culinary skills while socializing and showing their support for the college. Tickets are only $350 and are available at the College office (622-1671), Old Boys’ Association office (387-2411) and from Old Boys Kenrick Harrinauth (472-4204), Aaron Doyle (681-7879), Dain Archibald (489-1799) and Nigel Mitchell (728-5670). Dinner is served from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will feature a wide selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes served by QRC alumni and representatives of other secondary school alumni associations such as the St. Mary's Past Student Union, Fatima Old Boys Association, BELEX, St. Francois Girls' College Alumnae and Tranquil Government PTA. Guests can also expect to be served Mexican delights from MACO TACO in the line-up of participating chefs at this year's event. Winner of Food Network's Cup Cake Wars and QRC Old Boy, Timothy McIntosh will be present along with adopted 'Old Boys' the Gittens sisters, who will both be preparing their prized desserts respectively, in addition to premium treats provided by Flavorite Ice Cream. A complimentary bar will be well stocked with traditional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons, in addition to door and special prizes. Live entertainment will be provided by QRC's student pan-side, “The QRC Pan Ensemble”, Moricia Cagan, Freetown Collective and Trinidad Pieces.
