2017 Easter International Cycling Grand Prix: UCI Class II

The 2017 UCI Class I & II Easter International Cycling Grand Prix takes place over three exciting days and two venues in the beautiful twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. 14th & 15th April - Arima Velodrome, Arima - 5pm 17th April - National Cycling Centre, Couva - 10am & 5pm

Firstly, cyclists from as young as 5 years old to those over 75 will speed into the Arima Velodrome from 5:00pm on both days while the UCI sanctioned Scratch events and the always thrilling Keirin takes centre stage. Can the likes of Keron "Bramble Boy" Bramble and Teniel Campbell reclaim their Keirin titles? Or will the likes of 2x Olympian Hersony Canelon of Venezuela or Irish National Champion Eoin Mullen have something to say abouth that? After one day break the world class National Cycling Centre plays host to the Easter Grand Prix for the first time on the 17th April with two sessions at 10:00am and 5:00pm! The UCI sanctioned Sprint (Men, Women & Junior Men), Omnium (Men) and 500m Time Trial (Junior Women) will be on showcase. Can the new track record holders at the NCC and defending champion Quincy Alexander (T&T) come out tops again or will 2x Olympian Njisane Phillip or Colombian National Champion Diego Pena be a force to be reckoned with? Defending Sprint Queen Mandy Marquardt (USA) is returning to make it two in a row but the likes of Sol Angie Roa (COL) and Angie Ortiz (VEN) will have something to sayabout that! Tickets are priced at $50 for Adults and $10 for kids under 12 years old!

Tickets are being sold at the National Cycling Centre, Couva as well as all leading bike stores nationwide including Bike Inn (Vistabella, Tunapuna), Mike's Bikes, Geronimo's, Open Road Challenge Accepted and Motor Cycle Etc



The morning session on 17th April is FREE for all
while Senior Citizens over 65 are also granted free Entry on Monday 17th
at the NCC
