Named after the giant leatherback turtles that nest on nearby shores, La Tartaruga is Tobago's premier Italian restaurant.
Offering a choice of al fresco dining on our covered terrace or in our indoor restaurant, we serve only the very finest Italian cuisine: homemade pasta, fish and rock lobsters, in-house desserts and Gelato. A full vegetarian menu is available.

Herbs are home grown, breads are home baked, and only the finest olive oils, olives and cheeses are imported from Italy, while local ingredients are sourced from the best suppliers on the island. Our award winning wine cellar brings the glory of Italy's famed wine regions to the tranquil shores of Tobago.
