Social Protection and Agriculture: Breaking the cycle of rural poverty
About World Food Day 2015:
According to the UN, placing cash or food directly in the hands of the rural poor can protect them from hunger in the short term and stimulate production, income stability and poverty reduction and food security in the long term.
