BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1983, Neisha Julia Guy began singing in church and at school functions, where the response from her first audience gave birth to her love for music. Now, her drive and passion is only for the microphone and the stage.
Immediately after school, Neisha began her journey on the live entertainment circuit in Trinidad and Tobago. Performing at various local establishments such as Island Club Casino, the Royal Princess, Club Princess, Ma Pau, Casablanca, Hyatt, The Hilton and many others, she continues to captivate patrons with her vocal styling's and renditions. She has a wealth of experience under her belt and tistic resume that spans as long as the twelve years she has been in the entertainment industry.
Neisha entered numerous local competitions, and after four tries, she won the 2014 leg of Digicel Rising Stars (Trinidad and Tobago). She was eliminated but returned to the series via a "Wild Card" from the judges and eventually won the competition. When asked for her reasons for entering so many competitions, she humbly elaborated on the importance of the advice given, also stressing that the constructive criticism assisted greatly in her growth and ongoing development as a
Vocalist, and says repeatedly that she is never too old to learn.
Neisha Guy also known as Jus'tis played "Effie" in the famous stage performance "Dream Girls", recreated by The Eastern Youth Chorale of Trinidad & Tobago, where she exposed herself as a budding actress. She has performed in concerts featuring an array of Trinidad & Tobago's top performers like Tessanne Chin, H2O Phlo, Raymond
Edwards, Randolph Matthews, Nadia Batson, The Trinidad & Tobago Young Voices Choir (4000+ Children), Destra Garcia, Bunji Garlin, and many more top local and international acts, she also made her very first appearance on two stages at the Tobago Jazz Festival 2015.
A vocalist, songwriter, live entertainer, recording artist and so much more, Neisha Guy is focused on her many goals and her passion for each is her drive for tomorrow.
