St. James LIVE is ON! The 13th Annual We Beat June 7th to 16th WeBeat is a festival designed to promote the community of St. James. It plays a major role in promoting an opportunity for artistes to showcase their talent, it builds a sustainable tourism product with domestic and international allure, and recognizes persons from St. James who have contributed to the development of St. James and by extension, the wider community. . Friday 7th June 2013 - Honoree's Award Ceremony: Honorees Dr. Michael Alleyne and Mannie Dookie (Posthumous). Lion's Cultural Centre at 8pm. Invited Guests only . Sunday 9th June 2013 - We Treat: Treat for children 12 & under with St. James Tripolians Xcite and Scrunters Pan Groove. St. James Amphitheatre at 5pm. Free Admission . Monday 10th June 2013 - Health Day: In collaboration with POS North Lions Club & NWRHA. At St. James Amphitheatre at 10am. Free Admission . Monday 10th June 2013 - We Talk SideWalk Historian Talk Show: Disaster Preparedness for St. James. St. James Amphitheatre at 7pm. Free Admission . Wednesday 12th June 2013 - WeBeat Football Game. St. James Police Barracks at 4:30pm . Wednesday 12th June 2013 - Caribbean Beat: Pelham Goddard and Roots Featuring Superblue. St. James Amphitheatre at 8pm. Admission $150 . Thursday 13th June 2013 - Pan Explosion Steelbands in Concert: Republic Bank Exodus, Solo Harmonites with Louis (Ivory & Steel), White Oak Starlift Steel Orchestra and St. James Tripolians.
