UTT Biomedical Engineering Conference 2017

To educate stakeholders and attendees/participants of the existence and importance of Biomedical Engineering and how it can be applied to improve our Health Sector;

To explore the existence of technology [especially Telemedicine] and devices that can be applied to research and development or put into practice for improvement of health care;

To better understand the route for patenting of medical devices and technology, IP considerations, FDA approvals and related information;

To appreciate manufacturing capability in T&T and to create a forum for the discussion of new business opportunities in the field of Biomedical Engineering, and

To apply long standing philosophies regarding medical equipment management and procurement to our own Health System.
