Turtle Watching Matura

It's nesting season for our sea turtles and once again we at KameTribe are supporting the drive to protect our endangered species. We will be heading to Orosco Beach, Matura for our annual turtle tour with the awesome tour guides at Nature Seekers. These guys toil all year round to protect our endangered sea turtles from poachers, pollution and wreckless/harmful behavior by members of the public among other things. Your financial support to this non-profit organization and most importantly education about the species will be greatly appreciated by us and our endangered turtle family. Come out and have a blast with us as we observe and learn about these majestic creatures.

Meeting point: Valencia Junction on the Toco Main Road
(not to be mistaken for the junction at Valencia Police Station)

Time: 7pm
(please be advised that the duration of this trip is entirely dependant on the availibilty of turtles upon our arrival. Therefore our waiting time for turtle sightings can be short or longer than expected.)

Cost: $40
(for those in need of transport please call or message us on Facebook in advance so we can accommodate you. There will be an extra cost for hiring transport in addition to the $40 which covers permits and tour).

Helpful Tips for the Tour:
Walk with snacks and water...but clean up after yourselves
Walk with comfortable shoes/slippers. We will be walking on the beach after all.
Be prepared for cold temperature and possible rain.
Walk with insect repellent.
Keep your eyes on minors at all times
