ttff presents Vintage Pan, Mas + Calypso: A Ray Funk Presentation

The trinidad + tobago film festival's Carnival Film Series continues this Friday February 21 at the scenic San Fernando Hill with Carnival historian and researcher Ray Funk presenting rare historic film clips on calypso, pan and Carnival, at two events. Also on the programme: Beneath the Mas Director: Dinesh Maharaj 2013/T+T/Documentary/10mins A look at some traditional mas-making techniques and Carnival characters, particularly the art of wire-bending, the fancy Indian, the jab jab, the midnight robber and the bull mas.
