The Trinidad and Tobago Mango Festival 2017: Mango In Sando

The San Fernando CIty Corporation is proud to partner with the Network of Rural Women Producers Trinidad and Tobago (NRWPTT) to bring to San Fernando the Trinidad and Tobago Mango Festival 2017, Mango in Sando on June 2nd on Harris Promenade.

This "Mango-centric" festival, in its tenth year, highlights the countless amazing ways we can weave and appreciate our ubiquitous mango.

There will be mango crafts and of course mango based food.

Making a difference this year as the Mango Festival rolls into San Fernando for 2017, there will be competitions for the best Mango based meal, best Mango Dessert, best Mango Drink and best homemade Mango Anchar!

Returning competitions will of course include the Best in Chow (best mango chow) and the mango sucking competition!

There will be special workshops for Primary school students on Wednesday 31st May and a workshop on Thursday 1st June for Secondary students showcasing the many varieties of mangos, mango crafts and the agriscience behind this amazing fruit that we all love.
