At a time where the elevation of the arts is crucial to the growth and expansion of our nation, one organisation has played an integral role in the lives of many artists in Trinidad and Tobago. The Arts Support Alliance, fondly known as “TASA” has been thriving as the bedrock of the arts and culture sector for twenty-two years. Its yearly all-inclusive, ‘Fete for the Arts’ celebrates 21 years at Queen’s Hall and will take place on Carnival Sunday 2nd March 2014 from 2pm – 8pm. Featuring Dil E Nadan, 3 Canal, Benjai, Special Guest Artistes, Tripolian's Pan Round d'Neck and DJ John Gill Tickets are on sale at $600.00. All proceeds to supporting our Arts and Culture Founded in November, 1991 by “a small group of dedicated people working to support and encourage a national phenomenon… the incredible diversity of art expression in our country,” TASA, a non-profit organisation, has awarded grants through its Arts Advisory Council for education, exhibitions and performances as they relate to the arts.
