Monday 25th June 2013 to Friday 28th June 2013 "The Bridge Between Their Soul And Our Music" . Mon 24: Heritage Radio 101.7FM Spotlight on Services Interview from 4pm to 6pm. All are invited to tune in to hear the President of the JATT, Sean Thomas kick off the celebrations with an interview with Nirad Tiwarie. Subjects such as the influence of jazz on local music and musicians and the importance of creating a platform and infrastructure for local musicians to use improvisation as a musical skill for widening their international audience will be discussed. . Tues 25: Jazz Lime at LiveArt Bistro at 8:30pm. Bring Yuh Jazz CD's & Come (2 Drink Minimum) . Wed 26: Rhythm Stories at NALIS, POS at 3:15pm to 4:15pm. Storytelling and music combined featuring Aviel Scanterbury, Adrian Kong, Adriel Vincent-Brown & The Children's Library Storytellers. This is a FREE activity . Thurs 27: Jam Session at LiveArt Bistro at 8:30pm. Featuring Local & Foreign Artists. Listed Musicians and Ticketed Patrons only. . Fri 28: The Main Event at Central Bank Auditorium at 8pm. Fitzroy Coleman, named one of the top 100 greatest jazz guitarists by digitaldreamdoor.com will be honoured at this event on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Featuring Mungal Patasar and Pantar, Sean Thomas Quartet with three quintessential jazz musicians from USA: Brandi Disterheft (Acoustic Bass), Brianne Ford (Piano), Grace Kelly (Alto Saxophone) and Sean Thomas (Drums).
