Mermaid Pool Family Hike - 18.11.17

This is a hike for the entire family as we enjoy a simple but fun and exciting trek along the Matura River in Matura Village, Salybia. The adventure begins at Thomas Trace and will take just 35 minutes where we will trek through a peaceful, scenic, unspoiled pine forest for about 15 minutes until we meet the cool waters of the Matura river. 

We will continue upstream and encounter limestone formations that have created cascades, mini-rapids and smaller pools and gorges until we reach our intended destination, the Mermaid Pool! Hikers can bathe in the tranquil, cool waters that radiate emerald green against the sunlight. We will spend approximately two hours here basking in the beauty and serenity of nature and the picturesque landscape.

Our Hike Team Includes: Experienced Hike Leaders, Group Coordinators, Medical and Security personnel.

• Hike Rating- 3 out of 10 (Easy) 
• Duration- 35 minutes (One way) 
• Cost- $160 adults and $150 kids 5-11 years old
• Includes of Survival Snack Pack, Bottled Water and Transportation
• Booking and Payment deadline- Friday 10th November, 2017
• Transport- (Pickups available at Curepe Junction and Mt. Hope Car Park where persons with vehicles can park for the day)
• Assembly time: 7:30am
• Departure time- 8:00am 
• Expected time of return- 4:00pm 

Guidelines:

1. Hikers must wear proper shoes with good sole grips.
2. Pack a change of clothing 
3. Do not wear long jeans, thick cotton tops or clothing that will absorb and retain large amounts of water.
4. Secure electrical items including cellular phones and cameras (Double or triple bagging them is recommended). 
5. No littering, alcohol or smoking allowed.
6. Walk with any medication you may require (If you have asthma, allergies etc). 
7. Life Jackets will be provided. 

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING:

Bookings are only final when a payment is made. Bookings can be made in 3 easy steps:

2. Make the bank payment. Fast Deposit payments can be made. 
3. After payment is made email us to confirm your payment, we will verify and send you a receipt in return. 

Once you are booked it is understood that you agree to our Cancellation Policy stated below.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Cancellations made at least 3 days prior to the event incur a 50% fee. 
Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the event incur the full fee.
