Let There Be Life: A Joint Exhibition

Let there be Life is a group exhibition held by local artists Sayada Ramdial, Sarah Burrows and Ellij Nicholas. Opening Reception: Thursday 31st July 2014, 6:00pm - 9:00 pm Open Daily from: Friday 1st August 2014 - Sunday 3rd August 2014, 10:00am – 5:00 pm The Concept 'Let there be Life' draws inspiration from life itself, it also reflects on the biblical concept of creation. 'Let there be' and there was, the dawn of the first day and the beginning of life. Life denotes not only the act living, but also the act of being. Represented also in the vibrancy of colours in nature, motions created by the animate and inanimate, and the energies something may possess, we tend to personify them all by saying they are full of life.
