On August 31st 2013, The RSAtt hosts the Annual Skate-A-Thon, the Independence Day 15K with 20 plus skaters rolling from Curepe into Port of Spain to raise money for the School Skate Training Programme. The Independence Day 15K begins at 6:00 am on August 31st 2013 with 20 plus uniformed members skating from Curepe Junction into Port of Spain to join the Independence Day Parade ending at King George V Park. The entire route is approximately 15 Kilometers or 9.3 Miles, and most skaters are expected to complete it within 3-4 hours.
