Glen Martin Exhibits at Horizons

Glen is trained in various media and has used them to convey his concepts; these include ceramics, printmaking, etching and linocut. He is primarily known for his paintings, executing rich landscapes and figurative paintings in oils and acrylics. With his vibrant palette, his colours glow on the canvases as his impressionist style and soft light evoke romantic and warm tones. This has made him a favorite among collectors.

He surrounds himself with inspiration and advises budding artists to do the same. Observant of human activity, he finds himself being captivated by it, bringing daily activities and movement to life on his canvases. His female figures clothed in white against soft backgrounds and his colourful musicians moving within the scene convey both energy and emotion as Glen expertly captures the forms. His work hangs in private collections internationally and Glen has shown in many prestigious galleries in the United States.

Glen Martin will exhibit at Horizons Art Gallery with the grand opening on Tuesday 8^th March, 2016 from 7:00-8:30pm. Viewing continues daily until Saturday 19^th March. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
