Disposal of State Lands
The processes of acquisition, development, and disposal of State land may be used by the state to control how land is used, as a means of providing equitable access to land, and as a way of capturing profits from escalating land value for the benefit of all citizens. This presentation looks at the general concept of state land holding and its disposal with some focus on the processes, problems, and potentials in Trinidad and Tobago.
