World Autism Awareness Day is Sunday 2nd April, 2017. The UNESCO ASPnet seeks to highlight, for World Autism Awareness Day 2017, the impact of arts education on the growth and development of children with Autism.
This showcase will take the form of an exhibition of art pieces produced by a young artist who lives with autism, Mr. Ari Gopaul, and feature both his journey in self-expression, and that of his art teacher, Ms. Deborah Hutchinson, the ASPnet teacher coordinator at St. Joseph’s Convent, San Fernando.
Opening on Sunday 2nd April 2017 from 4pm - 6pm.
Exhibition runds until Wednesday 5th April 2017.
