Charm Carnival

In 2013, Charm will be the newest band on the Carnival scene in Trinidad and Tobago. The band is the brainchild of business power couple, Robert and Sharon Amar who have over the years proven that together they are a force in the world of business and entertainment. Fifteen years ago, the duo had been involved in the production of mas, however they admit they felt change was needed and so, they stepped aside to observe.

Fast forward to 2012 and the energy of the industry seems to have reached its limit with ideas that all seem recycled. For Robert Amar however, there is more… and that is what he proposes to show the world in his presentation of Charm - a big band for the road on Carnival Monday and Tuesday in the year 2013.

The Amar’s were responsible for the introduction of many firsts in Carnival- among them, the mobile washroom facility that masqueraders now enjoy. So with that understood, it’s not far fetched to believe that when this band hits the road for the very first time, there will undoubtedly be some very new innovations added to the masquerader’s experience.
