The Love Movement was founded in 1972 by Bernadette Laughlin-Scott out of her desire to use her musical talents to help raise funds for the under-privileged in Trinidad & Tobago. Over time, the Love Movement has become known as one of Trinidad’s most exciting and entertaining choirs, that uses movement, drama and colourful costumes to enhance our performances, bringing a fresh charisma to choral music and setting a high standard in local entertainment. The Love Movement is comprised of 3 separate choirs, The Senior Choir, The Youth Outreach Programme and The Lights of Love Children’s Choir. Concerts are held twice each year, in which all 3 groups participate with a repertoire encompassing all genres of music.
