UWI Afrikan Society Presents its 9th Annual Production on July 28th and 29th entitled #WAZZALA!
A show that speak for and to our beautiful kings and queens! This one is for hair that's "too curly or kinky", skin that's "too dark", lips "too full", hips that are "too wide", voice "too big". This is to denounce the idea that you're pretty.... for a darkie/black girl.... this is to say you're #prettyperiod. No exceptions. A production that you or maybe your best friend will appreciate, your mom, your sister.... someone struggling to love their natural self.
