Details
Tidings of Jazz and Joy will feature performances from The UWI Arts Jazz Ensemble, comprising students pursuing a BA in Musical Arts, a Certificate in Music at DCFA as well assome of the department’s past students. This concert will comprise a dynamic mix of popular Christmas songs, South American folk songs and some good old Soca Parang, all with a touch of reharmonisation and new rhythmic flavours.
Currently, tickets are priced at $50 general admission and $30 for students and children under 12 and are available at the DCFA, Gordon Street, St. Augustine or at the door on the day of the show.
