Shades of Pink

Shades of Pink - Caribbean is an organisation focused on assisting individuals with cancer by providing them with the financial support needed to continue their journey onto recovery and independence. On Saturday 29 June, the organization will host the Shades of Pink event to assist family member and friend Nichelle Munroe, who is in immediate need of medical and financial assistance. After undergoing surgery and several bouts of radiation, she went into remission. However, within two years of treatment, the cancer returned and she has been battling the disease since then. In 2009, Nichelle returned home to Trinidad and has been receiving medical care at the National Radiotherapy Center in St. James, privately and abroad. Nichelle has been unable to work since 2012. She is in desperate need of financial assistance for medical expenses. The organization will donate part of the proceeds to the “Friends of the National Radiotherapy Centre” in support of their cause.
