Scotiabank Women Againts Breast Cancer 5K Classic 2013: Point-a-Pierre

Heel to Heal Make huge strides in the fight against breast cancer. Register today for the 14th Annual Scotiabank Women Against Breast Cancer 5K Classic. Saturday 28th September 2012 at 4pm at three locations: Queen's Park Savannah P.O.S Guaracara Park Pointe-a-Pierre Store Bay Tobago Aerobic Warm Up begins at 3:30pm at all locations Race conducted by the Trinidad and Tobago Road Runners Club Medals and goodie bags for all finishers! Registration at all Scotiabank Branches throughout Trinidad and Tobago from August 27th to September 20th 2013. Registration $60 T-shirt $75 The Scotiabank Women Against Breast Cancer 5K Classic is funded by the Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation, a member of the Scotiabank Group, which oversees the Bank’s charitable work. Funds raised from this event are utilized to cover the cost of free breast cancer screenings, mammograms and ultrasounds at selected health centers and specialist clinics throughout Trinidad and Tobago in the month of October, which is designated Cancer month. To date, more than 16,000 women across the nation have been able to access free breast cancer screening, ultrasounds and mammograms through our community outreach efforts. Additionally, doctors and medical staff at Health Centres which participate in our programme can teach women how to conduct breast self examinations if they are unsure of the procedure
