Peach Walk In Port Of Spain: International Peace Day 2013

Join the members of I.M.P.AC.T and other communities for a "Walk for Peace" by the Communities for Peace Coalition in commemoration of International Peace Day, 2013. We will be distributing school supplies, meals and walking the route outlined below to show solidarity with the members of the community in their call for peace. Date: Saturday 21st September, 2013 (International Peace Day) Time: 9.00 a.m. to 12.00p.m. Route: Meeting at Woodford Square, across Prince Street, up George Street, across Duke Street heading East, down Nelson Street, across Queen’s Street heading East, up Duncan Street and across Prince again heading East for a short rally and speech at Piccadilly Greens. Dress Code: White This is a call for peace. On this day we are asking that everyone hold their hands and tongues from causing harm to another, signalling a desire for peace, even if for just one day. Each one of us can find a way to do something that creates a safe space for someone else. All are invited to attend.
