For our 8th year on stage, the UWIAS presents, NURA, a journey of self discovery and black identity.
We are pleased to invite you to witness another great work of art presented through dance, drumming, poetry, song and theatre.
If you've ever been to one of our shows then you know that it's definitely not to be missed and you only get two chances to see it.

Amira wants to know about her African culture, about the great Kings and Queens that ruled the land, and she knows there is more than what they teach in school. Frustrated and confused, she wishes she had the knowledge to open people's minds, that she too could experience the majesty of Africa, its beauty and rhythm. And so it begins, a journey filled with music and dance. A poetic story of struggle... Of awakening... Of enlightenment.
