Details
Moruga Heritage Food Festival and fifth year anniversary. The event will explore the preparation of foods that are done traditionally.
Cooked foods: (Moruga Hill Rice, Moruga Cocoa and Chocolate, Tum Tum, Coco, Buccaneer Meat, Salted Meats, Bene, Callaloo, Fariene, Pepper Sauce, Traditional Healthy Snacks and Sweets, Tuloom, Paw Paw Balls, Tamarind balls, etc. Meats cooked in Cocoa, Fish Broth, and the list goes on.
Drinks: Fermented Beverages (Fruit Wine), Creole Cocoa.
Cultural Diversity.
Food tasting.
Free samples.
Cultural performances.
There will also be items on sale on the day by local farmers and new entrepreneurs.
Moruga's Heritage Society, Moruga Cocoa Cooperative will also part of the Event.
The appreciation of Food sustainability and economic diversity through Heritage, Culture, and historical influence of all nationalities.
