Monday Night Theatre Forum featuring Dr. Dani Lyndersay

Monday Night Theatre Forum welcomes thespian and teacher DR. DANI LYNDERSAY on Monday May 22nd at 7 pm.

Dr. Lyndersay, or Dani as she is affectionately known, is a four-time Cacique Award winner, designer, teacher and facilitator of theatre-in-education, actress, poet, puppeteer and artist. Born in Australia of Dutch, Swiss, Irish and Canadian heritage, she has worked in Canada, Israel, Europe, and Nigeria and many other parts of the world. It was in Nigeria that she met her late Trinidadian husband, the
celebrated dramatist Dexter Lyndersay, with whom she had two sons. She was the initiator of the Youth Crossroads programme shortly after her arrival in Trinidad and then initiated the public education programme Arts-in-Action (AiA) which was launched in 1974 and received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in 2002. Come out and hear Dani talk about her heritage, her creation and her love of teaching.
