The Name of the Production "GOLDEN JUBILEE - A Celebration of Diversity" Directed and Produced by Ms Candice Clarke Andell Synopsis of show: On the 31st August 1962 Trinidad and Tobago raised the red, the white and the black signalling to the world, that we were an independent sovereign state… In commemoration of our 50th Anniversary of Independence, The Candice Clarke Academy of Dance presents to the nation, “Golden Jubilee- A Celebration of Diversity”. A sterling production of the youthful cast of The Candice Clarke Academy of Dance will showcase a vibrant testimony of the indigenous art forms of our culture among them, Trinidad and Tobago’s first professional wheelchair dancer. This colourful, creative and cosmopolitan explosion of dance shall also pay tribute to the sons and daughters of our soil. Queens Hall welcomes you on Sunday 5th August 2012 from 6-8 pm in a one show only performance. For ticket and other information, please call 755-6917 or 766-5671 or visit www.candiceclarkeacademy.org. and our facebook fan page http://www.facebook.com/CCADANCE The Production will showcase over 15 dance items: *Candice Clarke-Andell is the main Choreographer, *Jeshurun Neptune the hip hop teacher and advance dancer of the Academy will also choreograph two dance items *Cherisse Ealie the folk, tap teacher and advance dancer of the Academy is also assisting with one dance choreography *Tamara Hall the modern dance teacher and advance dancer of the Academy also assisted with one dance choreography *Carlos Griffith of the North West Laventille lend his choreography skills to a limbo dance the Academy tributes to Legendary Limbo Icon Julia Edwards *Ria Soodeen-Bachaan also been invited to choreograph an Indian classical mixed with Indian Folk, a dance the Academy tributes to Icon Mungal Patasar The cost of the show is $130 for adults and $90 for children... we will have a VIP reception for special guest... ticket numbers are not assigned to any particular seats, guest are welcomed to sit anywhere except the areas we will assign to media and special reserved.
