Comic Collectors! 

Rewind Comix has partnered with CBCS to be their Authorized witness at Comicfest 2017!
All books signed/sketched and witnessed will be eligible for the Authentic Yellow Label if submitted for grading on the day.

COSPLAYERS! 

We are pleased to announce our Cosplay competition for Comicfest 2017. You didn't think Comicfest forgot about you did ya? This year we're changing things up a bit and letting the crowd decide who comes out on top. Here's how things will work:

1. Participants can register at the Welcome Desk at any point during the day. There is no cost for registration. Note: you still need to have a ticket to enter the event. 

2. Upon registering, they will be provided with a number that they should wear on their person, preferably in a highly visible spot e.g. their back, arm, chest. We will also take a picture of the Cosplayer with their registration # for reference purposes. 

3. Participants should then mix and mingle in the crowd. The more you are seen, the more likely you are to get voted for. 

 4. Patrons to the event can then choose their favourite cosplay by noting the Cosplayers registration # and vote for them at the Welcome Desk. Limit: One vote per ticket.

Contest Rules: 

 1. Cosplayer Props a. Completely Forbidden Items: No metal/Real weapons/props, real firearms, no props that use high velocity projectiles

b. Items Permitted (with limitations at the discretion of management): Props made from wood, cardboard, Styrofoam, rubber or other craft material, large props and costumes, regardless of construction material.

NOTE: Management reserves the right to refuse the use of props that fall under the "Permitted with limitations" category, but which management feel would provide a risk to attendees.

2. All props are subject to review by management and we reserve full discretion for confiscation until after the event.

3. One vote per ticket. 

4. Voting starts at 9am and ends at 5pm. 

5. Results will be announced at 5:30pm.
