Queen's Royal College Old Boys' Association presents Chefs Royal 2012 A Gold & Blue Affair Come Dine, Lime and Experience a Royal Affair Dinner served from 730pm to 930pm $350 Tickets available from 753-9892, 461, 6893, 387-2411, 472-4204, 766-7289 and 681-7879 The Queen’s Royal College Old Boys’ Association (OBA) will host its popular major fundraiser, Chefs Royal, on July 28th, 2012, on the College Forecourt. The theme this year “A Gold and Blue Affair” was chosen in recognition of Trinidad & Tobago’s celebration of its 50th Anniversary of Independence. Now in its 14th year, this event has become a favourite on the calendar of connoisseurs of fine dining and good company. Chefs Royal facilitates the work and contribution which the OBA makes to College life and activities and is key to the success of many strategic initiatives designed to foster and improve the legacy of leadership and all-round education which is the hallmark of QRC. A wide selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes will be served by various QRC Alumni and year groups such as Class of 79 and QRChaps. There will also be dishes served by Rib House, Allied Caterers and Alumni from CIC, Fatima, Tranquility and other schools. Popular dishes such as Emmanuel Ferdinand’s “Shark in 3D”, Ronald Ramcharran’s “Caricom Pork”and Diana Davis’ "Royal Lamb" will be served. The Gittens sisters will also be preparing their prized desserts. . The bar will be well stocked with traditional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Patrons will be treated to various giveaways and special prizes. In addition to this entertainment will be provided by the QRSteel steelband, young QRC student vocalists Korey Gill and Dario Gonzales and a special guest artist.
