A hidden gem located deep in the Rincon Valley is Habio Waterfall.
The route is from Rincon Village in Las Cuevas. The uphill walk through the forest will take approximately 2 ½ hours. The trail ascends gradually and along the way it passes a small waterfall known as Black Pool. The path continues further up the mountain where it reaches a river. A ten-minute walk along the riverbed leads to Habio Falls positioned in a secret location. On the return, there is the option to divert from the main path to discover Rincon Falls the country’s second tallest.
