Adventure to Avocat Waterfall & 3 Pools

Join Adventure Seekers on our adventure to Avocat (Marianne) Falls and Three Pools.

We begin at the historical Spring Bridge in the Blanchisseuse Village.

Avocat Falls is only a short drive away from the fishing village of Blanchisseuse, in Trinidad's rugged north coast, which is itself about 1 hour's drive away from Port-of-Spain, and 30 minutes beyond Maracas Beach.

From there we head to the hills up the slopes into the lush green woodlands. This hill is not steep but relatively constant until you reach the top. From there we take it down hill to the base of the river.

Here the excitement begins as we fasten up our life jackets and begin our descent down the Marianne River. The river carves itself to the forest, with numerous pools for swimming and taking a dip. We wade through the river until we come across the Three Pools, where each pool is more fantastic that the next. The cool emerald waters and unique rock formations make this hike aperfect fit for nature loves and water lovers alike.

The fallsat Avocat hang off the walls at the head of this narrowing valley like a brides veil; it's cold clear water thundering into the small basin at it's feet. This is journey's end, and time to join your fellow travelers in a reinvigorating swim.

We recommend our patrons wear shorts or light clothing and shoes that can get wet, and perhaps even dirty. Ensure to secure all electronic items (Cell phones, cameras, ipod's etc).

If you wish to carry a back pack with personal items, ensure that they put the items within a garbage bag with in the bag, so as to waterproof the items.

Please walk with a fresh change of clothes to go back home in, a fresh drink of water, for drinking the river water is not advised and a small meal as they would be spending 2- 3 hours tops by the falls.

Life jackets will be provided for the non swimmers.

After deposit is made simply call/text Tiniel @ 3238434 or message via facebook giving details of payment (name, contact number, event paid for and number of persons)
It is asked that you inform us of booking as soon as you can so there is no mix up with your registration. You are also asked to walk with your receipt on the day of the event.

Direct payments can also be arranged in extreme cases by calling Tiniel @ 323-8434. Once you are booked it is understood that you are subject to our Cancellation Policy listed below.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made longer than 3 days prior to the event have no charge.
Cancellations made between 1 to 2 days prior to the event incur a 50% fee.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event incur full fee.
No Refunds on transportation fees

SAME DAY PAYMENTS (WHERE APPLICABLE)

Some of our events allow for same day payment and in this instance,
advance bookings/payments will secure your space. To patrons paying on
the day spaces will not be guaranteed and will be based on first come
first served on the day of the event.
