14th Annual Scotiabank Women Against Breast Cancer 5K Classic: San Fernando

Heel to Heal Make huge strides in the fight against breast cancer. Register today for the 14th Annual Scotiabank Women Against Breast Cancer 5K Classic. Saturday 15th September 2012 at 4pm at three locations: Queen's Park Savannah P.O.S Skinner Park San Fernando Store Bay Tobago Registration begins at all Scotiabank Branches throughout Trinidad and Tobago on August 24th. Registration $50 T-shirt $60 The Scotiabank Women Against Breast Cancer 5K Classic is funded by the Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation, a member of the Scotiabank Group, which oversees the Bank’s charitable work. Funds raised from this event are utilized to cover the cost of free breast cancer screenings, mammograms and ultrasounds at selected health centers and specialist clinics throughout Trinidad and Tobago in t he month of October, which is designated Cancer month. To date, more than 11,500 women across the nation have been able to access free breast cancer screening, ultrasounds and mammograms through our community outreach efforts. Additionally, doctors and medical staff at Health Centres which participate in our programme, can teach women how to conduct breast selfexaminations if they are unsure of the procedure
