Overview

Welcome to Zen - Where Dance Music Lives!

Zen opened its doors to the international dance arena back in 2005 with the launch of Cloudnine, a collaborative effort with the then already established local underground dance scene. The launch saw George Acosta, the first international EDM (Electronic Dance Music) Dj to be booked for an event in Trinidad and Tobago and for the first time brought the local underground EDM scene to full fledged Club level. Cloudnine became an instant success and paved the way for the growth of the EDM Club culture in Trinidad.

In 2006, following the success of Cloudnine, Zen took the next step in the growth of their dance night and re-branded it to LEVEL Thursdays, the first and only Club in Trinidad to have a dedicated night of the week for dance music. Between 2006 and 2009, LEVEL Thursdays cemented Zen as the leader and home of the Dance Music in the Club sector not just locally but across the region as well by bringing in some of the biggest Dj's in the world, many of them coming back on multiple occasions and some even falling in love with our beautiful island, enough to literally adopt us as their second home.

2010, Zen was just simply the place, "Where Dance Music Lives!". No longer just sticking to a Thursday night, they utilized any night of the week and capitalizing on any given opportunity resulting in some of the biggest events and best productions to ever hit the Club since opening it's doors to Dance music in Trinidad back in 2005.

Zen has set the bar for the Dance Music Clubbing experience for the entire Caribbean, so much so that they are literally unrivaled by any and are envied by all others. With state of the art sound systems, lighting, lasers, LED Screens, pyrotechnics and the industries only nitrous system coupled with 12 hour events going into Sunrise on the Club rooftop, it's an experience like no other!

There is no other Club that can boast of such an accomplished resumé in our local or regional dance scene. Marked with appearances by Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Roger Shah, ATB, Eddie Halliwell, Rank 1, Sander van Doorn, Blake Jarrel, Matthew Dekay, Darude, Yves La Rock and Dj Sammy along with multiple appearances by George Acosta, Dash Berlin, Filo & Peri, Cosmic Gate, Jennifer Rene, 4 Strings, Serge Devant, Guru Josh Project and Menno de Jong and vocal performances by Jennifer Rene, Jes, Nadia Ali, Sarah Howells, Ian Van Dahl and Cascada, Zen has brought the world to Trinidad and the Caribbean!

Apart from the international limelight, Zen has also established their own local STAR-studded list of resident Dj's which includes 2 of the most influential Dj's in the underground world, the digit@l buddha and Blazeo along with up and coming sensation Dj Nick Farah and last but not least Zen's very own, Jerry West, who is the host Dj of Trinidad and Tobago's only EDM radio show, Dance Nation on STAR 94.7 FM, Zen's sister company.

With the future of Trinidad and Tobago's dance scene only getting bigger and better, you can continue to rely on Zen to be the Club that makes it happen, leading the way for Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean into the World of Dance!
